To provide guidance to principals regarding Authorized Applications for Employees by Location Report.


  • generate Authorized Applications for Employees by Locations Report, found in the “Control-D” web viewer application in the M-DCPS Intranet
  • review and sign the front page and retain the most current quarterly report for audit purposes
  • make a determination on the appropriateness of each application for each employee, as to whether it is required for his or her assigned duties
  • ascertain that they are currently being monitored, that they have been signed by the principal, and that limited access has been granted regarding the ISIS-ACAD GRD/TRACE UPD application.
  • Please, be aware that established guidelines limit the number of authorized personnel who have access to changing grades through the ISIS-ACAD GRD/TRACE UPD application. Authorized personnel for changing grades are defined as the principal, one assistant principal and the registrar
  • the Office of Management and Compliance Audits will be reviewing these reports as part of the regular audits of schools
